Welcome. Thank you for being here.

My name is Treska Stein, and I am a breathwork practitioner, and the founder of SISTER SISTER.

Through breathwork I guide women to release the stuck emotion at the root of fear, powerlessness, unworthiness, and self-doubt, so they can move beyond what’s holding them back and step into the next level in their life.

The breath is a portal into our subconscious — the part of ourselves that holds our conditioning, societal programming, fear stories, mother wounds, ancestral trauma, limiting beliefs, unworthiness, self-doubt blocks, and personal myths.

Through breathwork, we are able to access, feel and release the old stuck energy and emotion that has become trapped in our body, reconnect with our authentic self and step into the life we want.

We need to feel more, not less.

My breathwork practice is informed by my extensive experience as a doula, deepened by my anti-racist study and engagement, and enriched by my own journey of tending to my own healing and full expression.

I live in northern New Mexico with my partner of many years, and our sweet tabby kitten. When I’m not guiding women in breath I’m out spending time with horses, painting, cooking in clay pots, taking rest in breezy spaces, or dipping into volcanic warm springs with my beloved.

I offer 1:1 breathwork journeys, and private or group events remotely via zoom.

I guide women to give birth to themselves.

I serve women who are done resisting the call of their true self, and who are ready to tenderly breathe into their own power and expansion.

Commitment to collective liberation

I am deeply committed to making SISTER SISTER breathwork a safe and inclusive space for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color.

SISTER SISTER breathwork employs a body-centric approach that recognizes that our lived, embodied experiences of safety, agency and self-love are shaped by our lineages, families, communities, and sociocultural contexts which all exist within larger, oppressive systems of white supremacy, patriarchy and capitalism.

My work with the breath and body is intersectional, anti-racist, and trauma-informed, and I am committed to my own, ongoing personal work of learning how to dismantle and heal the wound(s) of white privilege, racism, and white supremacy, so that I may create safe healing spaces for BIWOC.

SISTER SISTER’s anti-racist commitments:

  • Welcoming, and engaging conversations about race and equity.

  • Offering scholarships for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC) in group programs.

  • Making payment plans available for all services and offerings.

  • Donating at least 1% of net profits, alongside a monthly, recurring contribution, to The Nap Ministry, an organization founded by Tricia Hersey that names sleep deprivation as a racial and social justice issue, and examines rest as a radical tool for resistance and community healing.
